The company's mission is to simplify the process of purchasing renewable energy and accelerate investment in the sector. Leveraging the I-REC standard, Foton provides a transparent marketplace where companies can issue, trade, and verify renewable energy certificates.

My Journey
After spending nearly two months working on the Dynamic-e project at Foton Energy, I was transferred to the company's Marketplace team — the central and most critical part of the platform. From day one, I was struck by how well-structured, clean, and professional the codebase was. It set a very high bar, which meant I had to be extra careful and responsible with every contribution.
The Challenge
Our product manager had a very unique philosophy: no external UI libraries, no unnecessary packages. Every single component and UI element was designed and developed in-house by the front-end team. This was a real challenge for me, but as someone who loves solving problems and tackling complex tasks, I embraced it wholeheartedly.
Growth & Leadership
A major turning point came when our talented front-end team lead decided to leave the company. Suddenly, I had to step up and take on the responsibility. Given the complexity of both the business logic and the code itself, I was initially concerned. However, within less than a month, I reached a point where I had no more unanswered questions about the architecture or the flow of the system.
